Au Revoir!

Yesterday was an official notification that TMN is resigning from her office. It has been one(1) year plus TMN struggled herself there, shouldering simple but yet complicated responsibilities. That particular period of time enough for TMN to sense that "something is wrong somewhere". When they asked TMN on what was the main reason of her leaving the office in such short period of time, TMN gave typical answer of which you can easily find at job's website : better offer / salary. In fact, that was not actually the main reason. Main reason was this :- Afraid that her future will be hold at stake, appreciating the danger that she will encounter should she proactively and fearlessly fighting for something which she honestly believe to be unprofessional and unethical. She was the right candidate that does not fit in such office culture. It's like fitting the round cube into the square one. Wow, very contradictory statement.

TMN loves TMN's job so much, fully dedicated to it. Hence, there are some minor (not major) improvement on the system during TMN's tenure in that office. There will definitely be a major one, should they listen to TMN advise : restructuring the jd as the present one is very-very impractical. The system in-use no longer capable of holding the expansion of the business. Just imagine, having from less than 10 people works in there from more than 100 plus at present. It's like having one 20 watt bulb to light on the whole mansion, 15kv generator to be utilised for one big town. Ok, enough of using metaphore!

Restructuring was a simple one, does not need any capital invested in it at all. Some portion of works to be dispersed to the right department. In other words, the rightful owner. Some unnecessary and non-value added works to TMN to be transferred to those who can make it valuable and necessary. Again, this not involved creating a new position, it is just simply an act of filling in what was left vacant.

Guess what TMN gets when this proposal been brought to the top management? destructive criticisms!

Did TMN mention "proactively and fearlessly fighting for something which she honestly believe to be unprofessional and unethical" ? Wish TMN could write a full story out of it. There is a reason why TMN doesn't want to share the whole piece of cake in here. Enough to say it involves some process of which capable to be exposed with some risks and implication.

The rest, TMN leaves the reader to ponder.

TMN now is ready to move forward and "jadikan pengalaman ini sebagai sebuah kisah klasik".

Last but not least, one siginificant question posed by someone during exit interview yesterday : " Y such in a hurry? are you resigning because of you are under duress?".

Haha. Enough said.

Revival

Hello guys...

It has been ages since my last entry was somewhere in 2008, where I have all of my sweet time at Porto Seres, writing, blogging, posting any topics that I feel I would like to share with all of you.
I guess, from now on I will definitely have time to blog again.

There are times when I really feel that I would like to revive my old fav pasttimes - writing a story. I have been writing short stories since I was 9 years old and the my last time was smwhere in 1996/1997. Still remember those times, where I sought for my friends' advice to do proof reading on my short story.

I could not recall what was the main reason of me stopping myself from continue writing a story. Perhaps, lots of things have been revolving around me like crazy, unconsciously fading my interest and passion away. Two of my other friends have launched themselves as part-time writer (Both are sisters). One of them even had her play shown in theater, KL last year. This, once again did perk me up from my mundane routine in my everyday life.

Maybe I should give myself one more chance again.

Reviving this blog for a starter.

Not bad huh?
